yeah, it isn't. People are slow. I'm supposed to be posting in DMAC, but am distracted by other things, and Inarai and Saevus are holding up the FFRPG.

So, where have you been?

Midterms stacked up over 3-4 weeks. I thought I was done, then blat! 3-4 more papers. SO much fun! FUNFUNFUNFUNFUNFUNFUN!

Well, yea. I'll be on IRC for a while I suppose, eventually. I'll be writing a paper as well.

Im working my Serran plotline for DMAC, but its kinda dumb so i havent posted any of it.

Ah, I see. Midterms are a harsh mistress, indeed.

I was kinda wondering what was going on with Serran.

Yea. Just went to Cedar Point for Halloweekend, the last weekend its open. FUNNNNNNNN!!!!!! Short lines, awesome rides. First time in 2 years. Me like.

I have some stuff written for Serran, as I said, but it's garbage. Uninspired cliched garbage that I don't want to post.

So what's the deal with DMAC anyways? How are we continuing this forward?

People are completely unreliable in small numbers, and mostly unreliable in larger numbers. If there were a lot of members here, 90% could be useless and it'd be alright because the other 10% would post. There aren't a lot of people here though, so this place will be on life support until 2012. Assuming that the Mayans were right and life ends in 2012. Otherwise I suppose it'll continue longer than that.

Dude, its got nothing to do with inactivity. I mean, people are on IRC a lot and etc, we talk sometimes, i see people on AIM/MSN. It's just that the games aren't going forward right now for one reason or another. We'll get this on track. the pace before was quite nice, actually. but whatever. im not complaining, just throwing it out there that im still here and still very interested.

DMAC has stopped entirely due to my laziness, cause I don't know what to post next and am instead distracting myself with other things.

FFRPG should get going again once Saevus and Inarai come back from being MIA, though.

I have a different definition of activity. You guys are super-active in the RP sections, but it's the same handful of people, and there are only posts in that area, nowhere else on the site. Real activity would be at least 10-20 people posting everywhere.

I wouldn't say they're a dying breed. Suffering, sure, but not dying. Gaia Online keeps getting more popular for whatever reason, and so on. Out of the Shadows/Animexus/Work in Progress/Nameless/Elemestia has always been like this. I don't go to any other forums besides DM's, I'm sure there are plenty of active forums out there. Although for every one decent forum there's probably a hundred little ones.
